This piece explores the boundaries that we create and abolish in the process of getting to know someone. These boundaries make us who we are and dictate how we are viewed. When entering this instillation room, the viewer may not directly approach the piece without disturbing the strings, yet if they take the time to work themselves through the threads the core is completely approachable. This piece is a physical representation of the act of trusting someone new, which can be an extremely rewarding experience but may also be challenging at first.
